The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) released the list of 1,134 selected candidates for the post of Instructor on Monday. The recruitment drive aimed to fill 1,551 degree and diploma-level positions across 42 trades in Government Industrial Training Institutes under the Director of Training and Employment.
However, 417 positions remain vacant due to a lack of eligible candidates in categories like Scheduled Tribes (ST), freedom fighters, and people with disabilities. UPSSSC Secretary, Avnish Saxena, stated that results for 855 Instructor positions requiring National Trade Certificate (NTC) and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) qualifications will be released shortly.
The cutoff marks for various trades have been announced. For Fitter, the cutoff is 64.9111 for the unreserved category, 58.6444 for SC, 50.5167 for ST, 61.7556 for OBC, and 48.3333 for the economically weaker section (EWS).
For Welder, it's 53.4222 for unreserved, 38.5556 for SC, and 42.1167 for OBC. For Sheet Metal Worker, it's 58.5778 for unreserved, 35.4667 for SC, and 55.3556 for OBC. For Turner, the cutoffs are 47.6000 for unreserved, 37.8500 for SC, 38.2000 for ST, and 33.4833 for OBC.
For Machinists, the cutoffs are 47.9111 for unreserved, 41.1333 for SC, and 37.8000 for OBC. For Machinist Grinder, it's 59.6167 for unreserved, 54.4333 for SC, and 58.8444 for OBC. For Plumber, the cutoffs stand at 51.0889 for unreserved, 36.7778 for SC, and 49.6889 for OBC. Cutoffs for other trades are available on the UPSSSC website.
