A tragic incident in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, has left the local community in shock and mourning. In the Asharfabad area of Thakurganj, the bodies of three family members were found in their home, causing panic and deep sorrow among residents. The deceased have been identified as 48-year-old Shobhit Rastogi, a well-known cloth merchant from Rajajipuram, his wife, Suchita Rastogi and their 16-year-old daughter, Khyati Rastogi. Authorities report that the family died by suicide after consuming poison, and the case has sent shockwaves through the area due to the heartbreaking nature of the mass suicide.

The incident came to light on Monday morning when the local police were informed and promptly reached the scene. Upon inspection, it was found that all three had allegedly consumed poison. The motive behind the drastic step remains unclear, although a suicide note was recovered from the house, which is currently being examined by authorities.

DCP West Vishwajeet Srivastava, along with a police team, visited the spot and spoke to the relatives and neighbors to gather more information. The Forensic Field Unit was also called in to assist in the investigation. The tragic event has shocked the local community, raising many questions about the circumstances leading to the incident.
