Preparations are underway for the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority’s (YEIDA) board meeting scheduled for November 7, with several important proposals expected to be tabled. Among the key items are the development model for the Heritage City project in Mathura and the authority’s central office building plan.
The central office is proposed in Sector 18. While the design was initially prepared under former CEO Dr Arunveer Singh, current CEO Rakesh Kumar Singh reviewed the plan and directed improvements.
The revised proposal includes a bigger auditorium for official events, increased parking capacity, and more entry and exit gates. These changes will be sent to the board for final approval.
A detailed presentation on the Heritage City project in Mathura will also be placed before the board. The authority intends to adopt a hybrid development model, launching a plot scheme while creating tourism facilities under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. The board’s consent will be sought on the framework.
