The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YIDA) has launched a new scheme to promote the establishment of medical equipment manufacturing units in Greater Noida. As part of the initiative, 21 industrial plots in Sector-28 will be allotted to companies engaged in producing various types of medical devices.
The scheme includes 16 plots measuring 1,000 square meters and five plots measuring 2,100 square meters. These allocations are part of the larger vision to develop Greater Noida’s upcoming Medical Equipment Park, which is being positioned as the largest such facility in the country.
Under the Medical Device Park Scheme, YIDA is encouraging the manufacturing of high-end electronic medical devices related to cancer care, radiology, imaging, in-vitro diagnostics (IVD), implants, cardiovascular and respiratory care, and other critical healthcare sectors.
Applications for plot allotment will be accepted until July 7. The cost of a 1,000 square meter plot has been set at Rs 7,730 per square meter, with a premium of Rs 77.30 lakh and a registration fee of Rs 7.73 lakh. For 2,100 square meter plots, the premium is Rs 1.62 crore, with a registration fee of Rs 16.23 lakh.
