Suresh Joshi, the BJP's chief state spokesperson, announced that the implementation of a strict anti-cheating law in the state is helping talented and promising youth realise their dreams. He stated that this measure has curbed the "cheating mafia" and led to a fair selection process where the same candidates are often selected in multiple examinations.
Government Recruitment And Job Creation
During his four-year tenure, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has overseen the provision of a record 25,000 government jobs. These recruitments were conducted by the Public Service Commission, the Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission, and the Medical Service Selection Board. Joshi emphasised that all competitive examinations are being held on time, with results declared on schedule, allowing young people to join their posts without any delay. The Chief Minister has also decided to fill all vacant posts across the state's government departments.
In the private sector, Joshi credited the Chief Minister's efforts for realising an investment of Rs 1 lakh crore in the state. This has resulted in the creation of approximately 81,000 jobs in private institutions.

Other Employment Initiatives
Joshi highlighted several other programs aimed at youth employment. Uttarakhand's Employment Department is facilitating overseas work opportunities through the Mukhyamantri Kaushal Unnayan Evam Vaishvik Rozgar Yojana (Chief Minister's Skill Upgradation and Global Employment Scheme). This program provides jobs in countries such as Japan, Germany, and England, and participants are given specific language training before they are sent abroad.
Additionally, thousands of young people have found jobs through various job fairs. To further support the state's unemployed youth, the Dhami government has launched the Rozgar Prayag Portal. This platform allows individuals to apply for outsourced jobs in government departments that match their specific educational qualifications and choices.
