In a major push to ease travel facilities for commuters, the weekly train service between Dehradun and Charlapally railway station in Hyderabad has resumed operations. The train (number 07078/07077), which was previously run as a summer special from April to May, will now operate regularly every Thursday from Dehradun.

According to Aditya Gupta, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Northern Railway’s Moradabad Division, the train will depart from Charlapally at 5:00 AM on Tuesday, reaching Dehradun at 7:20 PM on Wednesday.

From Dehradun, it departs at 7:00 AM every Thursday, arriving in Charlapally at 10:30 PM on the following Friday.

The train will cover a journey of 39.5 hours with halts at Haridwar, Roorkee, Hazrat Nizamuddin Junction, Mathura Junction, Agra Cantt, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi Junction, Bina, Rani Kamlapati, Itarsi, Nagpur, Ballarshah, Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Bellampalli, Mancherial, Ramagundam, and Kazipet stations.

The service will be operated with 18 ICF coaches.
