The Uttarakhand cabinet, led by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, has approved multiple key decisions affecting urban development, governance, and administration in the state.

Land Allotment in Udham Singh Nagar: The cabinet has sanctioned the allotment of 9.918 hectares of land in Fazalpur Mahrola village, Rudrapur tehsil, for planned residential colonies and commercial construction. The land will be transferred to the District Level Development Authority, Udham Singh Nagar, at the current circle rate.

Right to Service Report: The ninth annual report of the Uttarakhand Right to Service Act will be tabled in the Legislative Assembly. The report details the actions taken on the commission’s recommendations and reasons for any non-compliance, in accordance with the provisions of the Act.

New Posts in Advocate General’s Office: The cabinet has approved the creation of two new positions in the office of the Advocate General of Uttarakhand, a Stenographer and a Senior Principal Private Secretary.

Additionally, approval was granted to exempt payments for expenses incurred during the Northern Zonal Conference held in Dehradun on 12–13 April in collaboration with the National Judicial Academy, Bhopal, and the High Court.

These decisions are expected to support planned urban development, strengthen administrative efficiency, and enhance governance transparency in the state.
