The Uttarakhand government has taken a major step towards making school education more high-tech. The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) will now provide mobile-based online courses to teachers through a dedicated app.
The app will offer facilities for registration, study materials, assessments, progress tracking, and certificate downloads, enabling teachers to learn anytime, anywhere. To support users, helpline services and chatbot-based assistance will also be available.

SCERT has also launched the Uttarakhand Hackathon and the e-magazine Ratbyani to promote innovation, research, and creative activities at the school level. Officials said these initiatives are designed to encourage students and teachers towards technological solutions, innovation, and research-driven learning.
“Standardised lesson plans are essential for quality teaching. Through these digital platforms, we aim to empower teachers technologically so they can adapt resources for their classrooms and inspire students,” said SCERT Director Bandana Garbyal.
