Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced a major welfare measure for forest personnel in Uttarakhand. Forest staff posted in remote areas of the state will now receive a housing allowance to ease their living conditions.

Highlighting the challenges faced by forest personnel, CM Dhami stated that these employees work tirelessly in difficult conditions to protect Uttarakhand’s forests and wildlife. Often stationed at remote and inaccessible outposts, they are required to live away from their families, making it difficult to arrange separate accommodation.
