The Uttarakhand State Health Authority is set to introduce a comprehensive SGHS Master Package aimed at improving services for Golden Card holders. The proposed package will cover 426 facilities and provide a detailed list of entitlements based on employees’ contributions.
Government employees and pensioners have raised concerns over the Golden Card scheme, citing reluctance from some empanelled hospitals to provide treatment and incomplete coverage for certain procedures. To address these issues, the Health Authority has prepared the Master Package, which has been submitted to the state government and is awaiting approval.
