7-Year-Old Japanese Girl Viral Video: The internet is amazed after a short clip of a seven-year-old Japanese girl speaking fluent Kannada went viral. The video, shared widely on Reddit, shows the little girl confidently talking in Kannada with a clarity that surprised everyone. In the clip, she sweetly says, “Namaskara, Kannada language is beautiful, it is easy to speak, sweet to hear, and if you are born, you should be born in Kannada naadu, thank you.”
The post quickly became popular, collecting thousands of upvotes and hundreds of comments. The caption itself grabbed attention as it read, “A Japanese kid speaking cleaner Kannada than half the people who’ve lived here 10+ years.” It then added, “It’s funny how people who come from another country put in effort to learn the local language out of respect. Meanwhile, a chunk of internal migrants act like Kannada is optional DLC.”

The comments section turned into a debate. Some people defended migrants, reminding everyone how tough it is for adults to learn a new language while balancing work and life. One user wrote, “Fact is, people living for 10 plus years are probably adults making ends meet. They have more important issues to handle at their jobs and homes... So learning Kannada is probably very low on their list.” "There are so many of Kannada people in Maharashtra. None of them talks in Marathi. There are more Kannadigas in Maharashtra than Marathi in Karnataka," a second user wrote.

Amid the arguments, many Kannadigas were simply happy and emotional watching the little girl. "Kannad Gotilla species should learn from this kid," wrote a third user. "It's an individual choice to learn a language, you can't force people, especially adults. I don't see any point of this post other than spreading language bias," added a fourth user. "Sorry, it’s easy to learn at that age no I won’t learn Kannada too hard for me," added a fifth user.
