Viral Video: Getting everything delivered to one’s doorstep with merely a few clicks might be one of the most valuable advancements the society has achieved with all the food, shopping or grocery-related online delivery apps so far, but no matter how advanced- everything has a time and place. Or so believed the internet after a video of a rain-drenched Zomato delivery agent searching for a customer amid traffic was shared online. Believe it or not, the said customer placed the order while being stuck in traffic, which turned the job of simply ‘searching’ for the customer into a confusing task in itself. Pointing out the same, most netizens dubbed the customer ‘insensitive’ and called the ‘traffic jam amid rain’ a ‘not-so-suitable-spot’ to place an online food order from.
As per the post, the incident took place on Mehrauli Gurgaon Road, whereas the date could not be confirmed. As the video went viral, most people chastised the customer. Many also expressed their sympathies for the Zomato delivery agent, while the rest lauded his dedication.
The video was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘Delhi Visit’. The post was captioned, “Someone ordered food in a traffic jam.” The video was shared a while back and pulled more than 4K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “The guy who ordered food should be ashamed,” a user said. “Respect to such hardworking people who, despite the bad weather, deliver you your stuff,” added a second person. “Yet we complain about the jobs that we do in air-conditioned offices,” added a third person.
“How can someone expect to find a vehicle in a traffic jam that too in heavy rain.... utter nonsense... don't misuse a service,” added a fourth person. “People have become absolutely insensitive... not considering human beings as human beings...the boy deserves to be rewarded,” wrote another.
