Since the Hollywood blockbuster film, Transformers, was released, every car enthusiast is waiting to see a real-life Transformer, which can transform itself into a robot from a car. Now, after over 16 years and seven instalments of the Transformers series, car lovers got to witness a real-life Transformer. 

The car, built by a Turkish R&D company, Letrons, made headlines with its jaw-dropping transformation that looked like a scene from the Hollywood film itself.

Anand Mahindra, the Chairperson of Mahindra Group, too joined the fandom as he pitched the same idea to his own company. Taking to his official X handle (formerly Twitter), Mahindra tagged Velu Mahindra, President of Automotive Technology and Product Development, on the post.

The post was captioned, “A real-life ‘transformer’ developed & showcased by a Turkish R&D company. We should be having such fun at our R&D too! @Velu_Mahindra?”

The video showed an exhibition where a car by a Turkish R&D company transformed from a regular car into a ‘transformer’. The car transformed in front of many on-lookers who watched in awe as the vehicle looked straight out of the sci-fi film. 

The netizens loved the idea and agreed with the industrialist. Taking to the comment section, the people flooded it with their views on the vehicle. 

“Transformers in reality, huh? With AI and deep tech, we're also not far behind - creating virtual realities daily,” a user said. “This is so cool!! Amazing stuff!,” wrote a second person. “When we r cash surplus,we can do these things .. companies like Infosys TCS have zero R&D ..no product..just service no innovation,” commented a third user. “Will be happy to see a affordable convertible sir,” said a fourth. “I'd definitely get onboard with a Mahindramus Prime,” joined a fifth person. “Now Our Mahindra Time',” added a sixth.

Turkish R&D Company Letrons made headlines with its drivable ‘transformer’ car. The idea was borrowed from the famous Hollywood film Transformers. The film has a huge fandom and has multiple parts. The film is about Autobots that enter the Earth from outer space.
