Indian ace cricketer Mohammed Siraj stole millions of hearts on September 17 after he gave an excellent performance at the Asia Cup 2023 against Sri Lanka during the final match. Soon after India’s big win, praise and congratulatory posts poured in as people celebrated the game. A huge share of credit was also given to the amazing athlete, Siraj, for his outstanding bowling where he took 6 wickets under 21 runs. Becoming the new fans' favourite, cricketer soon started trending on the internet. Amid all the celebrations, business tycoon Anand Mahindra also joined the bandwagon and hailed Siraj’s performance. Taking to his social media handle, the industrialist lauded the game. 

“I don’t think I have EVER before felt my heart weep for our opponents….It’s as if we have unleashed a supernatural force upon them @mdsirajofficial you are a Marvel Avenger,” read Mahindra’s X (formerly Tweeter) post on Siraj. 

Replying to the billionaire's X post, a user soon suggested that he should gift an SUV to the cricketer as a gift for his game, but Mahindra’s reply to the comment left the netizens laughing and amazed at the same time. “Been there, done that,” read the businessman’s reply.

Back in 2021, Anand Mahindra gifted an SUV to Mohammed Siraj for his performance against Australia during a Test series. “Words fail me at this moment. There is nothing I can say or do that will adequately express how I feel about your beautiful gift @Mahindra_Thar . For now, I’ll just say a big fat thank you @anandmahindra sir,” read Siraj's post back in 2021.

Giving an outstanding performance on the Sri Lankan cricket ground against the country, Mohammed Siraj became the first Indian bowler to take four wickets in a single over. With its win against Sri Lanka, India ended up winning the title for the Asia Cup 2023.
