Bengaluru Auto Driver Viral Post: Losing something valuable in public transport usually feels like the end of the story. But for one woman in Bengaluru, it turned into a tale of kindness, patience and an auto driver who went above and beyond. The story, shared by X user Palak Malhotra, has now gone viral for all the right reasons. Palak had mistakenly left her AirPods in an auto and thought she’d never see them again. Using the ‘Find My’ app, she booked another ride and explained her situation to the new driver, Darshan. Without hesitation, he agreed to help and began following the location of the missing device.

What followed was an almost 90-minute-long chase across three different spots. At first, Palak assumed the earlier driver had taken the AirPods. But later, it was discovered that another passenger had kept them. Darshan not only stayed by her side throughout but also persuaded the previous driver to track down the person and recover the earphones.

The journey wasn’t easy. Darshan spoke little English or Hindi, while Palak only knew a bit of Kannada, in fact, just the phrase “Kannada gothilla.” Yet, through broken words and gestures, they understood each other. Their hunt even included a small pause over ginger tea before finally getting the AirPods back.

Darshan’s patience and honesty touched Palak deeply. She later learned that he holds a B.Com degree and is driving his father’s auto while saving for an MBA. Impressed and grateful, she ended her post with words that captured the internet’s heart: “Not all heroes wear capes. Some drive autos in Bangalore.”
