Waiting for cabs or auto rickshaws, after booking it online, can be one tiring task. While the maximum time normally doesn't exceed 20 minutes, a man in Bengaluru was asked to wait for over 200 minutes after he booked his ride.
Yes, you heard it right. In a screenshot that was shared by an X (formerly known as Twitter) user, Deyalla, the company asked the man to wait for 225 minutes for his ride after he booked a Rapido drive.
"Rapido wait time getting out of hand. Gotta wait for more than 3.7 hours for 45 minutes travel," he captioned the post, which has garnered over 450 views so far.
Meanwhile, the ride-hailing company, Rapido, also replied to the post, made on Tuesday and called the issue a "glitch", also asking the man to share details of his ride. "Hi, this seems like a glitch. Could you please share your registered mobile number with us via DM to have this checked?" replied the company.

Social media platform users also reacted to the post and wrote, "This is the way."
Earlier in a similar incident, when a man from Bengaluru booked an Uber car, he discovered that the driver was 24 kilometers away and that there was a 71-minute delay. In the caption, the man wrote, "Huge respect for him if he actually shows up," and used the popular "peak Bengaluru" hashtag.
Responding to the post an X user wrote, "Huge respect for you also if you wait that long," to which the man replied, "Hahaha. Driver Cancelled after 1 min. Sad ending."
Bengaluru has often been a point of discussion online due to the expensive flat rents or transport and commute issues.
