Bengaluru Harassment Viral Video: A short video shared online has brought attention to a scary moment on Bengaluru’s roads and raised fresh concerns about women’s safety. The incident happened on Silk Board Main Road, where a woman riding a scooter was allegedly followed and harassed by three men on another scooter. What made the situation more worrying was that it happened on a busy road and before 10 PM.
The moment was noticed by Abhinav Vasudevan, a passerby who decided to step in. He later shared a brief nine-second clip of the incident on Reddit. While the video cuts off quickly, Abhinav explained that the harassment continued for several kilometres before he intervened. As soon as he confronted the men, they fled from the spot.
In the video, the three men can be seen riding dangerously close to the woman, matching her speed and making her visibly uncomfortable. Abhinav said he recorded the clip to keep proof and later shared it with the woman via AirDrop, in case she chose to report the incident. He also mentioned that the woman had taken a few pictures herself.

Sharing his experience on Reddit, Abhinav wrote, "Saw a girl being harassed by a group of guys for several kilometres on a main road, and this was before 10. I took a video as evidence and intervened; they immediately fled. I AirDropped the video to her in case she wants to report it. She also had taken a few photos herself. Sad,"
"Are you new to Bangalore? The three guys on a bike thing is something I saw all the time growing up. And it was always something that put me on guard as a woman because somehow the risk of them doing something stupid multiplies exponentially," a user wrote. "Proud of you, buddy, you did the right thing, this is what separates a male or boy from a man, kudos," a second user wrote.
The clip may be short, but the message it leaves behind is strong. Even on busy roads is not always safe, and stepping in at the right moment can make a real difference.
