Haridwar Wedding Viral Video: A wedding in Haridwar took an unexpected and dramatic turn when a violent clash broke out between the bride’s and groom’s families, causing the bride to cancel the wedding. The altercation erupted around 10 PM during the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, a moment meant to welcome the groom, but instead, it became the trigger for chaos.

According to reports, the trouble began when some of the groom’s friends, who had just arrived from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, allegedly made offensive remarks about the bride's female relatives. What followed was a rapid escalation from words to fists. CCTV footage from the event captured the mayhem, showing men throwing stones and ripping their clothes in the middle of what should have been a happy occasion. The video quickly went viral, leaving many shocked at how quickly the celebration turned into a full-scale brawl.

The viral video was shared on X (Formerly Twitter) by the handle '@askbhupi.' The post was captioned, "During a wedding ceremony in Haridwar, an argument broke out between the bride and groom during the ribbon cutting ceremony. The dispute began when the boys teased the girls during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. When the girl's side protested against this, an argument began which soon turned into a fight."

"After which, the baraatis created a lot of ruckus. After which the bride's side refused to marry and the baraatis returned without the bride," the post further reads.

The video shared two days ago received 679k views from social media users. Taking to the comment section, many people shared their views. One user wrote, "First, edit the post. There is no ritual of ribbon cutting in a Hindu wedding. Those who do this do so out of their own free will, not by tradition." "Some people indeed come after drinking and say anything," a second user added.

"Some guests and relatives who come to the wedding are busy enjoying themselves and often create such a situation with their actions. A social, family, religious ceremony turns into a bitter memory," added a third user. "These events should be handled with high sensitivity," added another user.
