BYOC Viral Trend: Every day, social media introduces us to new food videos and viral trends from around the world. From quirky food combinations like chocolate gol gappa to chicken tikka ice cream, these bizarre fusion creations often rack up millions of views. A recent trend called 'Bring Your Own Chips' has been making waves online. The concept is simple: bring a packet of your favourite chips to a restaurant, pick from a variety of toppings and sauces, and enjoy your chips with a completely new flavour twist. Originating in the West, this trend quickly gained popularity and has now gone viral in India.
Here’s how the viral trend works: customers bring any bag of chips, and the restaurant loads it up with a burst of flavours. Sounds exciting, right? They offer a range of toppings, including chopped veggies like cucumbers, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, and even chicken. But it doesn’t stop there—they drizzle sauces like sour cream, salsa, and mayonnaise, finishing it off with a garnish of fresh cilantro.
The BYOC (Bring Your Own Chips) trend is going viral across several cities in India, including Delhi, Mumbai, and Surat. Not just restaurants embracing the trend—street vendors are also jumping on the bandwagon.
