There are fans, there are crazy fans and then there are some BTS fans. When it comes to ‘fan moments’, BTS ARMY is quite popular for attempting something entirely unexpected that often carries the potential to leave the world speechless. Doing something similar, BTS’ three little fans from Tamil Nadu, not only decided and planned but executed one of the most bizarre plans, with the aim to MEET their favourite idols. Yes, meet. Tossing all the ‘practicality’ aside, three 13-year-old girls collected Rs 14000 and ran away from their houses in Karur, with the aim of reaching South Korea’s Seoul, as per the news agency PTI.
The journey of the delusional fans began on January 04, without passports, when they took a train to Chennai from Erode. The grand plan was to reach Visakhapatnam, from where they would have used a sea route to reach their destination, according to PTI. “They took a firm decision to somehow meet the BTS stars and shortlisted the seaports of Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu and Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh to take a ship to South Korea and they eventually chose Visakhapatnam,” a Child Welfare Committee official was quoted as saying to PTI.
However, the scene at their homes soon shifted to fear after their parents realised that the kids were gone longer than usual. A report was reportedly lodged in Karur, after which the police jumped into action. The BTS fans, on the other hand, managed to get a room on the same day in a Chennai hotel. However, their journey proved to be a difficult one as they reached the 2nd day, January 05. They reportedly decided to turn back and took a train back home. But the return turned into another disaster after they missed the train at midnight while getting some snacks.
Fortunately, the police found the kids and confronted them about their ‘passport-less’ journey to South Korea. “At Katpadi railway station, when they got down at midnight to buy food, they missed the train. Police personnel spoke to the children and Child Line authorities and we were alerted," the head of Vellore District Child Welfare Committee P Vedanayagam, was quoted as saying to PTI.
“We learned that the girls knew the minutest details about the BTS band and the stars, the way they dressed and whatnot; they had bought shoes similar to the ones used by the pop band stars,” the official was further quoted as saying to PTI. “It was very clear to us that they yearned for a life of dance and music,” they were later quoted as saying.
The police also tried to make them understand the importance of studies and the ‘correct ways’ through which they can afford a trip to South Korea in the future for their respective reasons. “We told the children about the importance of education and its value and advised the parents to keep an eye on what their children do,” the official was quoted as saying to PTI.

Counselling was reportedly held for the parents and the three kids involved in the matter, after which they were sent back home on January 06.
