Kashmir Vande Bharat Viral Video: What was meant to be a joyful surprise for a little boy turned into an online storm. A Varanasi couple, Rakesh and Neha Jaiswal, decided to celebrate their son Moksh’s 6th birthday aboard Kashmir’s first Vande Bharat Express, and the internet didn’t take it well. In a video shared by ANI, Neha is seen lighting candles and cutting a cake inside the moving train as it crosses the newly inaugurated Anji Khad Bridge. While the moment was meant to be emotional and memorable, viewers on social media called it 'irresponsible' and questioned the sense of hosting such celebrations in a public transport setting.
Rakesh Jaiswal explained their thought behind the celebration, saying, “It was a coincidence that it was our son's birthday the same day PM Modi was going to flag off this train. We thought we should celebrate our son's birthday on the first journey of this train so that his birthday becomes memorable for him.” His wife, Neha, added, “... This is the best gift for our son... We made this plan because of PM Modi...”
The video went viral on social media, with many questioning whether trains are the right place for private parties. The moment may have been special for the family, but for the internet, it crossed the line between personal joy and public space.

The viral video shared two days ago received 307k views from people. Users were quick to react to the viral video in the comment section. One user wrote, "Train is not your party place, stop lighting candles. Keep the train clean, enjoy the journey instead of using it as your private property for doing party." "There are solid reasons why we get hate from other nations," a second user added. "Public trains aren’t party halls. Turning the Vande Bharat maiden run into a birthday bash was tone-deaf and tacky. National pride deserves better than cake crumbs on the aisle," added a third user.
"You should punish such passengers putting lives in danger of other travellers. Set an example before it is too late and turns into a tragedy with religious colour," a fourth user added. "We should refrain from lighting a matchstick inside a train for everyone's safety, no matter if someone says that it's allowed," a fifth user added. "Fine him and his wife, it should not be allowed on public transport trains, flights, or buses are not your home or hotel," a sixth user wrote.
"Stop promoting such behaviour of passengers that causes inconvenience to others. A train is not a restaurant, cafe, club or your home," added another user. "Please arrest these people for a fire hazard on the train. Evidence is ON VIDEO, they are igniting a fire in the moving train. This is a matter of national security and targeted to destroy the newly started Vande Bharat Train and the bridge," added another user.
