Private investigator Baldev Puri has solved hundreds of cases in his career but one particular incident still stands out as the 'dirtiest and weirdest.' He revealed this shocking story on Raj Shamani’s podcast Figuring Out and the internet can’t stop talking about it. It all began when a father approached Puri along with his elder son. They wanted him to “counsel” the younger son who, according to them, was refusing to get married. At first, it seemed like a routine family matter. But something about the younger son’s behavior made Puri suspicious. Instead of counselling, he suggested a week of surveillance.
The Shocking Revelation:
Puri’s team began following the younger son. Soon, they discovered he was secretly meeting a woman and taking her to a hotel multiple times a week. When Puri presented the woman’s photo to the family, the entire room froze. “The father looked at me and said, She is my elder son’s wife. She’s my daughter-in-law,” Puri recalled. What looked like a simple case turned into one of the darkest stories of betrayal and manipulation.

A Conspiracy About Wealth:
As the investigation continued, the truth was even uglier. The elder son and his wife were allegedly using the affair to keep property and money within their control. They didn’t want the younger brother to marry, fearing the wealth would be divided. Puri even raised doubts about the paternity of the children.
“Money had become so important that they were okay with this arrangement. They didn’t want the younger brother to marry someone else because then wealth would have to be shared. It was one of the dirtiest cases I’ve ever solved,” Puri said, leaving Raj Shamani stunned.
