Diljit Dosanjh Viral Video: Many believe that a person’s playlist can speak volumes about the owner’s personality. However, keeping in mind the involvement of the internet in everyone’s lives these days, it seems like one’s social media interactions and posts can also do the same! Doing something similar, a man expressed his ‘dislike’ for ace Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh, by calling the artist an ‘average singer’. The man then went on to clarify that if it was him, he ‘wouldn't pay even Rs 20’ for the singer’s concert tickets. The rant was seemingly triggered after Dosanjh’s bodyguards were seen flashing flashlights on paparazzi to keep them from clicking pictures, which apparently did not sit well with the internet user.

His post went viral in an instant, however, not for the reasons he probably hoped. The internet, especially Diljit fans, were quick to troll the man. A few called it a method to secure privacy from the paps, while the rest even questioned the man’s taste in music. Some even called him jealous, while very few agreed with him.

The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘vijaygajera’. The post was captioned, “I don't understand the fake hype created for this average singer, Diljit Dosanjh. Look how his bouncers treat media with laser lights so they can't take photos. I will not even pay ₹20 to watch his concert.” The video was shared three days ago and pulled 1M views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “FYI your “average singer” has shattered numerous records all over the world, including the first Punjabi to appear in the Tonight Show, the first Punjabi to feature in Coachella, and numerous other iconic venues across North America & Europe which were sold out during the pre-sale itself. All this while maintaining his calm and honest demeanor at all times. Through his performances he has showcased the Indian culture and language to the global audience, at the same time inspiring millions of aspiring artists at home,” a user said.

“Flashing laser is a common thing done to prevent omnipresent photographers from taking unnecessary photos. At times you might not feel like getting your privacy invaded, no harm in it. At least he isn’t like the Bollywood celebs, forever pap-hungry and doing everything to be in the headlines,” added another. “Do you even have 20 rupees? That is earning IT Cell get after 10 tweets,” added a third person.

“Everyone has their own taste in music. Maybe Diljit Dosanjh's bouncers are just trying to protect the world from being blinded by his star power,” added another.
