Diljit Dosanjh Lookalike Video: The ‘lookalike hype’ strikes again! For those unaware, the ‘lookalike hype’ is basically when fans go crazy for their favourite celebrity’s lookalike, either out of confusion or simply out of admiration. Well, another similar incident recently went viral, where it was a lookalike of one of the most hailed personalities who rocked the streets of Pune; Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh. An influencer dressed similarly to Dosanjh decided to take a casual stroll at the FC Road in the city, accompanied by some bodyguards. Needless to say, the trick worked as many fell for the prank as people began to click the lookalike’s pictures and started taking selfies with him.
The video received a mixed reaction after going viral. Some people loved the prank, while the rest joked about the fans who fell for the lookalike. Many also pointed out the differences between the influencer and the singer.
The Diljit Dosanjh lookalike video was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘Simarjeet Singh Calisthenics’. The post was captioned, “Diljit Dosanjh at FC Raod, Pune.” The video was shared days ago and pulled 263K likes from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “These depicts that if you wear fake Rolex in a BMW, people will think that you are the real thing,” a user said. “For people who clicked a picture with him I feel sad for those people,” added a second person. “And people even believed that you were Diljit Dosanjh,” added another.
“Respect for those people who ignored him,” commented a fourth person. “Simran you are stiff and Daljit is like wave/water….but it worked nicely,” added a fifth person. “I hope @diljitdosanjh bhaji’s legal team doesn’t sue us for impersonating him! We love you bhaji’ and this is all out of love we are celebrating your presence in our city and welcoming you with open arms!” added another.
