Viral Video: Even the wedding celebration of many looked dingy in front of the divorce party that was thrown by a woman after her 20 months of ‘error’ finally came to an end. Yes, the woman, Shehrose Noormohammed, threw a mega ‘split-up bash’ to celebrate her divorce from her husband who allegedly did not even give her a proper ‘wedding celebration’, a video of which was shared online. Needless to say, seeing her happily dancing to hit Bollywood numbers in a gorgeous bridal lehenga, left many feeling happy for her. As seen in the video, the room was beautifully decorated with balloons and a wall that read ‘Divorce Mubarak’. The party also had snacks and hilarious placards that read some amusing messages on her ‘horrible married life’.

As soon as the video went viral on social media, people began to react to it. Most agreed with the woman’s idea of celebrating the separation, while some called her ‘strong’ for standing up for herself and prioritising her happiness. Meanwhile, a few were against the celebration.

As the post gained some criticism from a few people, the woman decided to further open up about the matter in her Instagram stories. As per the story thread, the woman never got an ‘Islamic wedding (Nikah)’ from her husband after their court marriage. She also narrated the ordeal she went through after the wedding, as she accused her partner of draining her finances. She further opened up about the need to prioritise her financial crunch and the responsibility she had of her mother, which were only getting hampered while she was married to her husband. As per the woman, the man fled from the country mid-divorce case, which made the entire process further lengthy and ‘unbearable’.

Coming back to the video going viral of the party, it was shared on the woman's Instagram handle. The post read, “The Freedom Performance after a long 18 months.” The video was shared a while back and pulled all kinds of reactions. The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the user 'Simply_Krishna'.
