Viral Video: Sometimes, the smallest moments melt the internet’s heart and this one did just that. A viral video capturing a sweet exchange between a TTE and an elderly grandmother on a train has left everyone emotional and smiling. The video, shared on X by the handle ‘gharkekalesh’, shows a TTE politely asking an old woman for her train ticket. But instead of showing it, the confused grandma takes out her Aadhaar card from her purse and hands it over, thinking that’s what he was asking for. The TTE couldn’t help but smile at her innocent mistake.
When he gently asked again, it became clear that the woman didn’t have a ticket at all. But instead of scolding her or making a scene, the kind-hearted officer decided to let her travel for free. The video was captioned, "Grandmother Shows Aadhaar. Instead of a Ticket, the TT Officer Touched, Let's Her Travel Free."

The moment struck a chord with viewers, earning over a million views in no time. People flooded the comments, praising the TTE for his compassion and expressing how the grandma’s innocence made their day brighter. One small act of kindness and the internet couldn’t stop smiling.
"There is no need to show tickets anymore. TTE can see the ticket on his tab. He just asks your name and cross-checks it on his tablet. Sometimes, they ask for ID but mostly it’s just the name," a user wrote. "Sometimes humanity outranks protocol. That TT didn’t just let her travel—he reminded everyone what public service should look like," a second user wrote.
"We need more people like him," wrote a third user. "Bro, this is heart-touching. I think this will be the last generation to be this innocent," added a fourth user. "Instead of taking action as per the rules, the TTE showed humanity and allowed the woman to continue her journey without any fine," a fifth user added. "Last generation love," added another user.
