Elephant Viral Video: A fun day out turned into a heart-racing moment no one expected. Visitors enjoying a peaceful picnic by a riverside were suddenly caught in a rush of panic when a wild elephant appeared from the forest. What started as a calm outing quickly became chaotic, with families running in fear, leaving behind their food and belongings. The entire moment was caught on camera and shared on the platform X by Indian Forest Service officer Parveen Kaswan. In the video, the elephant is seen chasing a few people while others scramble for safety. Amid the noise, one woman is heard shouting, “Don’t run!” trying to stop the panic.
After walking through the picnic area and stirring panic, the elephant calmly crossed the shallow stream and returned to the forest. Thankfully, no one was harmed. Kaswan used the video to send out a strong message, asking, “Tell me whose mistake it is. Why choose a location for a picnic where elephants usually move? In search of beautiful locations, please don’t put life in danger.”

The clip went viral, gaining over 220k views. Many online users agreed with his warning and called for more care and respect when visiting areas close to wildlife zones. One user wrote, "Why can’t the government or authorities put strict rules and make it no entry?" "Humans leave no space, just imagine you want to go to the washroom and there are people roaming about nonstop. How much can you take after all? I am on the elephant's side," added a second user. "It's the home of an Elephant. Not a place for humans. How will a person feel if an Elephant infringed on his home?" added a third user.
"I totally agree with you, Mr Kaswan, but humans egoistically believe they are the lords of the earth," added a fourth user. "These are some of the craziest people on Earth. They do not have sense; all they have is nonsense," a fifth user wrote. "Choosing beauty should never come at the cost of safety, respecting wildlife means picking spots that protect everyone involved," another user added.
"Just ridiculous behaviour. Animals have a greater sense of civic sense about their own environment than a large section of Indian tourists do for theirs," added another user. "Trust me, the whole mess in this World, both involving Humans & non-humans, has been created only & only by us Humans. Non-Humans are infinitely compassionate & kind to all. But we are the ones who are the most selfish," added another user.
