Even peace-preaching personalities like Mahatma Gandhi and Mother Teresa would fail as far as ‘politeness’ is concerned when it comes to kids asking for money from their parents. This is especially common among school and college students. Exemplifying the same, a boy did something similar with his father and gave a formal touch to it. The same formal yet hilarious ‘money request’ was then shared on the internet by the father, Dr Manish Kumar. What caught more attention was that the father later revealed that the message looked more like a ‘random’ to him. The post instantly went viral and left social media ROLFing.

The post was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘drmanishranchi’. The post was captioned, “My son has a sense of humour.”

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “I had a friend in college from 40 years ago who wrote a postcard to his father this cryptic note: I'm doing well. For more doing well send more money,” a user said. “Had heard a story from my dad of his friend in college. The guy was from a village but rich farmer type family. He had convinced his parents to send a reasonably hefty sum (in the 1960s) because he needed a ‘log table’ for his Maths and described what a big wooden table it was,” said a second person. “This is hilarious, I would try the same,” commented a third.

“Your son is a gentleman,” said a fourth user. “I used to say I love you, Dad. It was a signal k paise dedo,” said a fifth user. “Hahaha This is so cute. It's good to see son having good rapo with dad or it's usually to the mom the mediator,” commented a sixth.
