G20 Summit 2023: The Indian Government is reaching all the possible lengths to make Delhi welcoming for the G20 leaders as the country is all set to host the G20 Summit 2023. India welcomed some of the most powerful leaders from across the globe on September 08, while the main G20 event began today, September 09. From a traditional welcome to a breathtaking kickoff, Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government organised many events worth remembering. One among these events was the fountain show that took place at the state-of-the-art Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre in Pragati Maidan on September 08.
India is hosting the G20 Summit in Delhi after it got the presidency from Indonesia last year. The country also hosted an end number of G20 meetings in several states in the past months, where delegates from the member countries were invited. The summit is taking place at the Pragati Maidan’s new Bharat Mandapam. The Indian Government has also taken strict security measures for the event. Several leaders from the world’s most powerful economies, including US President Joe Biden, and UK PM Rishi Sunak, are in India to attend the summit.
The video of the fountain show was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) by the news agency ANI. The video was captioned, “G20 in India: Sound and fountain show being organised at Bharat Mandapam, in Delhi Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan is all set to host the G-20 Summit on September 9 and 10.”
