From taking away their phones, and not giving them access to the internet or the phone together, parents have gained quite an image for trying all kinds of methods to keep their kids away from excessive usage of screen time. Walking on the same path, a ‘maasi’ (aunt) made a ‘house agreement’ to stop her resident’s kids from using their phones all the time. The agreement had some basic rules that every parent often advocates, like ‘no phones in the toilets’ to ‘no screen time right after waking up’. One of the rules also asked the kids to not use their phones on the dining table. Another adorable thing was that the aunt, Manju maasi, also made all the kids sign the agreement.
The post sharing the same instantly won the internet. It was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘clownlamba’. The post was captioned, “My Maasi made everyone in the house sign this agreement.”

The post instantly became a hit and people had a lot to react to. Most hailed ‘Manju maasi’ for the idea, while others cracked hilarious jokes about the situation the kids must be facing right now. Some people also pointed out some basics that the agreement was missing, yet supported the idea. The post was shared yesterday and pulled 392K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “There is one mistake in the agreement. The Agreement doesn't mention the Date. So in the absence of the date of agreement, this agreement becomes non and void. Also, there is no legal validity as it doesn't mention who will take authority for the implementation of the said punishment,” a user said. “Manju aunty after dropping the new house rules,” said a second person. “Manju Aunty is giving off the systumm energy,” joined a third user. “Manju aunty ke bachhe after listening to the new house rules are fitting,” said a fourth person.
“Nothing just manju maasi being bigg boss of the house,” added another. “Counterfeit stamp paper? Wow,” said a sixth netizen.
