In the last few years- in fact decades- the dating game has completely changed. Romance and ways of expressing love were something else until a few years ago, and now, they are entirely different. It goes without saying that technology, the internet, and dating apps played a major role for the same. However, it seems like there is more to come- at least as far as ‘dating in tech’ is concerned! A man took to his social media to share a screenshot of a text by a girl whom he was dating. The text was basically a rejection by the said girl, who turned him down for dating but instead came up with a unique proposal; angel investment. Yes, believe it or not, the girl asked for an opportunity to ‘angel invest’ in the man’s company.

“Hey honestly I don't think we're a match, I enjoyed getting to know you though. Also just curious, is there any allocation left in the round? Been doing some angel investing and would love to write a small check into your company,” the text read.

The post, after getting shared, pulled many reactions. Most found the entire thing too ‘wild’ and hilarious and cracked dating jokes on the same, while the rest answered about what they would have done in such a situation.

The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘roshanpateI’. The post was captioned, “Dating in tech.” The post was shared a while back and pulled 911K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Probably only offering a small injection,” a user said. “That would be a no from me,” added a second person. “Wasn’t into long-term commitment but doesn’t mind long-term investment. Not bad,” commented a third person. “This is wild,” added another.

“Simpconomics is spilling from OF to LinkedIn,” added a fifth person. “She saw you vision and wants to invest in you. If that’s not love, I don’t know what is,” added a sixth person. “Prime! They still want to be a part of the convo for at least another 5 years,” added a seventh user. “The woman just took ‘would love to stay friends’ to whole another level,” added another.
