Saving a life is one of the most beautiful and fulfilling services one can do, and out of all, hospital staff, doctors, and other medical professionals get to experience the same the most. However, with many deaths around them, some medical professionals have also encountered some of the creepiest instances, and this Reddit post is an example of the same. A Reddit post went viral, which asked healthcare professionals to share some of the most creepy and unique last words that their patients told them right before dying. From people reassuring an old man who apparently ‘got away with a murder’ to many seemingly prepared and happily welcoming ‘death’ on their deathbeds, it’s safe to say that many incidents gave Redditors a chill down their spine.

“Not a doctor but I overheard an old lady whisper this to her old husband dying of kidney problems- You are going to beat this, you got away with murder, this is nothing,” a user said. “But I don't know how to get there- Grandpa in hospice. Hadn't spoken in days. Died about 2 hours later,” commented a second person. “My grandfather on his deathbed said- they have no eyes- still give me chills,” added another.
“My first hospice case. She was on morphine and started mock smoking. She looked at me, took my hand, and said- please- in the most pleading voice I've ever heard. I sat with her body until the corner arrived. She has no friends or family. Only her lawyer showed up. I've only done one hospice case since,” commented a fourth user.
