Greater Noida Viral Video: Noida and its pet owners made some of the most controversial headlines in the past few months. Even when the furry one did not do anything, the owner’s questionable behaviour left the netizens shocked during several incidents. Joining the list, another pet owner from Greater Noida went viral after he ended up arguing with a security guard over using the building’s elevator. Although the pet dog was muzzled, a kid who was in the lift was still scared of the canine's presence, due to which he wanted to use the elevator without the dog in it. The matter arose after this demand did not sit well with the pet owner who argued with the guard as he was following all the necessary rules. However, the fact that the kid was already using the lift before the pet owner, won over the argument. 

The video was shared on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) by the handle 'Greater Noida West'. The post was captioned, “Gaur City 7th Avenue: A poor child was already in the lift and was crying due to fear of the dog, but the dog owner's brother was adamant that he would go in the same lift because his dog was wearing a muzzle.”

In the video, the dog lover was seen arguing with the building’s guard who was trying to ask the man to use another lift as a kid was already inside the elevator and was scared for the pet. But the man kept his point forward and asked the kid to use another elevator as the owner was following all the rules that a pet owner needed to abide by. Soon, the person recording the footage also intervened and asked the pet owner to take another lift as the kid was already using the elevator. The argument turned ugly as the pet owner started arguing and defending his side over him following the rules.

The video went viral and did not sit well with the netizens. Most people called the owner arrogant and expressed their concern for the dog for having such an owner. Others sided with the kid already inside the elevator as the pet owner, according to netizens, was being impractical for asking the kid to leave the lift he was already using.

Taking to social media, people shared their views. “Looks like there are more dogs than people in Noida,” a user said. “The same incident happened before when I was staying in PG,” a second said. “I don't know why but I feel sorry for the dog for bearing the owner all its life. Dog deserves a more empathetic owner,” added a third. “Muzzle mandatory for both dog and owner,” said a fourth person. “This is cruel behaviour on the part of the dog owner. A kid's concern is more important than the dog owner's pride,” added a fifth netizen. “I live in Gaur City 2 and have never seen this kind of behaviour from any dog lovers. All the dog lovers here are so humble and I have seen them waiting a long time for a lift when nobody is using them,” said a sixth.
