Gujarat Floods Viral Video: Among all the states that are facing the wrath of the incessant rain in India this year, it seems like Gujarat is struggling the most as social media has seen far too many cases and instances related to the same. From people saving aged dogs to many facing major property damage, videos of Gujaratis calling out for help have taken the internet over. Adding another to the list, a video is making rounds on social media, where a couple was seen stranded on their heavily submerged car’s roof. As per reports, the incident took place in Gujarat’s Sabarkantha, where the duo was reportedly swept away by the River Karol.

Apart from the dire situation the couple were in, what made the clip viral on social media was how calm the two looked despite being stuck amid a roaring river. Reportedly, the two were waiting to be recused, and it was only after 2 hours that they were finally rescued to safety. The incident unfolded on September 08.

The Gujarat video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘AbhijeetM1999’. The post was captioned, “A horrifying video has emerged from Sabarkantha in Gujarat. Where a couple got stuck in a sudden flood in the river. To save themselves, both of them sat on top of the car. They were rescued after a lot of effort.”

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “This is indeed a sad and horrifying situation. The couple's rescue is good news, but such incidents are a serious warning to everyone to be cautious during floods and move to a safe place,” a user said. “Bro they're so cool about it many would have freaked out,” read another.

“The point to be noted here, both of them are seemingly calm and waiting for the rescue teams to arrive. No panic whatsoever,” added another. “They are looking relaxed. Great they are rescued…But not safe visiting such places during the rainy season,” added a fourth. “Bruh Actually They are enjoying this what,” added another.
