Viral Video: Along with all the respite that the rain brought this year to save people from the scorching heat that was so intense that it even took lives in some parts of the country, the heavy downpour also came in with its own set of issues. From incessant rain that flooded most cities to property damage, 2024’s rainfall for India was rather a nightmare as several cities were quick to go under water. Several instances were shared online where people were either saving each other or were facing major damage due to the excess water. Adding another to the list, an incident was shared online, where a man bore a heavy loss after he tried to cross a submerged road under the bridge on his bike. As the man reached halfway, his bike overturned, resulting in him and his vehicle falling down in the water.
Lucky for the man, there were many people around him when the incident happened, as they rushed in and saved him. The exact location and the date of the matter could not be confirmed.
The rainwater flood video, after being shared, went viral and pulled mixed reactions. Most questioned the government on the poor infrastructure, while the rest sympathised with the man. A few also mocked the latest tax slabs and connected the infrastructure with the same.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘muglikar_’. The post was captioned, “A close call.”

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Guys, is it Bangalore? We are also facing some issues. But judging by the man’s language in the background, this is some other state- which means that the condition is the same everywhere. The government needs to answer,” a user said.
“It's an old Hero Honda CBZ with a damaged oil control piston ring. Polluting vehicle. So, it's okay if it's damaged. However, hope the man is save,” added a second person. “Maybe he didn’t pay enough taxes,” wrote a third user. “Somewhere in Chhattisgarh. Also drunk, didn't listen to, what his friends said,” pointed out another.
