Viral Video: In an incident that raised questions over the safety of doctors in the state, CCTV footage of a doctor being beaten up by a family in Gujarat left everyone shocked and angered. The incident reportedly unfolded in a hospital in Bhavnagar on September 09, where the said family members brought in a patient to be checked for unclear issues. While the patient, an old woman, was being checked at the hospital’s emergency room, the family was asked to remove their slippers outside the ward. However, the pettiest request instead left the family triggered enough that they allegedly began to attack the doctor.

The Gujarat video, soon after getting shared, went viral and pulled endless reactions. Most people raised questions over the safety and security of doctors across the country, while the rest chastised the family for their attack on the doctor.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘BhavikSudra3’. The post was captioned, “Complaint of threat to doctor in Sihore hospital of Bhavnagar district. At a private hospital in Sehore, a doctor was attacked for something as simple as taking out a slipper. Assaulted by asking the people who brought the woman patient for treatment to come to the emergency ward with their boots and slippers out.” The video was shared two days ago and pulled 42K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “This will be a small-scale contract worker, not a doctor. He himself comes wearing shoes and imparts knowledge. A sick family has to be comforted, the shoes are going to come off after a few minutes,” a user said. “Doctors are truly not safe, anywhere from anyone,” added a second person.

“Gujarati people are proving that they don't have family morals,” added a third person. “If you have come to the hospital, you should stay within limits, do not bully everywhere,” added a fourth user. “Some people need clear civics regular classes for change,” added a fifth person. “Did anybody Notice the patient Suddenly became Perfectly Normal, Magic of Doctor and Visitors Fight,” added another.
