Zomato Order Gone Wrong: Online food apps might have made life much easier, but that does not mean that the service is ‘bulletproof’, or to be more apt- ‘mistake proof’. In fact, from life-threatening mistakes to hilarious ones, there have been countless instances where online food orders went horribly wrong. Adding one more example to the latter category, a Zomato birthday cake order left everyone laughing because of a funny misunderstanding. The said mistake was a result of an unclear instruction, where the customer asked the bakery to write ‘Isha’ on the cake, along  with a ‘Happy Birthday’ sticker ‘if possible’. However, the request took a funny turn after the bakery instead wrote ‘Isha Possib’ on the cake. 

The picture of the cake, along with the online Zomato instruction, was shared online, which went viral. The post was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the user ‘GauravP1005’. The post was captioned, “Hi @zomato. Please increase the word limit.”

The post left the netizens laughing, making it go viral. Many called it the man’s mistake for not writing clear instructions, while the rest advocated that Zomato had nothing to do with the cake, rather it was the bakery that was responsible. The post was shared and pulled 968K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “They missed it and the quotes,” a user said. “It reminded me of the animated show KIM POSSIBLE,” commented a second person. “They ate ‘if’ from between. You should rather claim compensation,” said the third person. 

“Look, Zomato doesn't make Biryanis or Cakes. It's the Bakery's responsibility. Next time order from another bakery or provide simple instructions,” wrote a fourth user. “Naturally, even I would be angry - they missed it,” said a fifth person. 

“Probably they thought -it- was her middle name so they decided to skip it,” said another. “Expecting things to go right when it comes to ordering Cakes through Zomato is so wrong,” added a second person.
