Delhi NCR Heavy Rain Viral Video: On Wednesday evening, heavy rain caused big problems in Delhi-NCR. Many roads were filled with water, and people had a tough time moving around, especially in Gurgaon and parts of Delhi. Several videos went viral on social media, showing roads flooded like rivers. Cars, bikes, and even e-rickshaws were seen stuck in deep water. People were wading through water, pushing their vehicles, and trying to find their way out of the mess.
One video from Gurgaon’s Golf Course Road caught everyone’s attention. Sharing the clip, the user wrote, “For the unversed, this is the very road where apartments are sold for over 100 crores. #GurgaonRains turns Golf Course Road into a river. Venice vibes and doorstep thrill surely deserve this price. The #LuxuryLiving hub.” Other places like ITO, Ashram, Akshardham, Rail Bhawan, Pul Prahladpur, MG Road, Shadipur, MB Road, National Highway 8, and Madhuban Chowk also reported waterlogging and traffic jams.

दिल्ली के पटपड़गंज इलाके का हाल। बारिश में कई जगह लोग अभी भी जाम में फंसे हुए हैं। कई जगहों पर वाहन डूबे हुए हैं। बेहद खराब स्थिति है। #DelhiRains pic.twitter.com/ovYfawyAD5

Users were quick to react to the viral video. One user wrote, "People who buy 100 crore worth of flats should also purchase a steamer boat." "Infra is simply crumbling everywhere...And this is supposed to be a modern world-class level city. I have said this before. You can live in your bubble of 100 cr apt, but how will you escape the poor air, lack of infra, safety, and civic sense," a second user added. "Took me 45 mins for 4kms on EXTN road in Sec 65. Don't know how people are going to get to Trump Towers once they move in. Unbelievable and scary stuff. It rained for 2 hours. That is all it took," added a third user.
"First, it takes to reach home 3-4 hours to reach home in Gurugram, and now, cherry on the cake. No Electricity. Muskuraye aap Gurugram mein hain," a fourth user added. "The only privilege these flat owners get is that they can drive fearlessly even on waterlogged roads. Most of the GGN roads have potholes and driving there during rains is another level of challenge," added another user.
The weather department has warned that more rain is likely soon. According to the IMD, “An eastward-moving cloud cluster is likely to cause moderate rainfall at most places, with heavy rainfall at isolated locations, accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds gusting up to 50 kmph during the next two hours.”
