Manasa Banoth, a 28-year-old single mother from Hyderabad, shared a video of herself saying goodbye to her three-year-old daughter before flying to Canada for higher studies. The video shared on Instagram with the text, "23 kg allowed… so I left my heaviest piece of my heart behind." The caption of the video reads, "Leaving my daughter is the hardest goodbye I ever have to say. India gives me moments, laughter, hugs, and memories I hold onto for survival. Canada gives me responsibility, reality, and distance."
