Viral Video: Amid ace cricketers like Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, Rohit Pant and more leaving the ground much earlier than expected, it was Ravichandran Ashwin who suddenly brought the much-needed ‘change in the winds’ at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium during the India vs Bangladesh match today, September 19. For those unaware, India played against Bangladesh at the 1st Test match Day 1, which was a complete roller coaster ride as quite a number of Indian players left the field with upsetting scores. However, as soon as Ashwin took the ground, things began to take a turn for the good as the man scored a century after giving hit after hit. With a reported score of 102 runs in 112 balls, the man became a hero for fans. Amid all the cheering for Ashwin’s excellent gameplay, someone who expectedly stole the spotlight was an old lady.

Yes, believe it or not, an old woman went viral as her video of cheering for Ashwin every time he hit the boundary was shared on social media, which went viral. From standing and cheering for the player to clapping with tea cups in both her hands, the woman’s uncontrollable excitement was evident and well-received.

The video, after getting shared, went viral and pulled all kinds of reactions. Most people loved the woman’s reaction and called her excitement ‘relatable’, while the rest couldn't stop lauding the cricketer’s gameplay.

We would possibly save the embarrassment of losing a test match to Bangladesh after it happened to Pakistan.
