Indian Vlogger Viral Video: Imagine walking into a village where everything looks normal, houses, schools, people sitting around, but then you realise none of them are real. That’s exactly what an Indian travel vlogger experienced during his trip to Japan’s Nagoro village. The village, often called Japan’s 'weirdest and scariest,' has become a curious travel spot where life-sized dolls replace humans. These dolls are arranged everywhere, some sitting in classrooms as if they’re studying, others fishing, sleeping, or even chatting with each other. To anyone visiting for the first time, it feels like stepping straight into a ghost town.
The viral video was shared on Instagram by the account On Road Indian. In the clip, the vlogger can be seen walking around the empty streets and buildings, describing the eerie silence and strange atmosphere. He even filmed himself at 3 a.m., adding to the creepiness, and said the nighttime visit was far scarier than the day.
In his words: “Japan ka scariest and most weird village. No real people are here, school me koi bacche nahi padhte, gharon me koi insaan nahi rehta bas hai toh kewal darawane putle… Nobody is here, bhoot ka sheherhai yeh toh.” He explained how even the small details, like slippers outside the school, are staged to make it look like humans live there, but inside, everything is just dolls.
The video carried the text overlay: “This Japanese village has no real people,” while its caption read: “Hanuman Chalisa Worked. Most creepy place I have ever seen.”

The post shared a few days ago garnered 590k views from people. Since being posted, the clip has gone viral and sparked mixed reactions online. Some viewers admitted they, too, felt chills watching the strange scenes, while others called it fascinating but spooky.
"I assume this is Nagoro... This village has only 27 people... And apparently, for two decades, no children have been born. Therefore, someone made all these dolls. These are more sad," a user wrote. "Nagoro is a small village in Japan’s Shikoku island, famous for being filled with life-sized scarecrow dolls made by local artist Tsukimi Ayano to replace residents who have died or moved away, as the population has drastically declined," a second user wrote.

"Japanese ghosts don't know Hanuman Chalisa," added a third user. "Wow, no people but still clearer than my house," added a fourth user. "What if they were real human who turned into this?" wrote another user.
