Some things truly only happen in Bengaluru. From hours-long traffic jams, a whole trip just to reach the city’s airport, exhausting hunt for apartments to people working from ‘home’ while doing anything and everything, Bengaluru has become a city with its own set of shenanigans that are unique to Bengalorians. Amid all the mentioned above, another factor that is way too common in Bengaluru is the mammoth number of startups. Exemplifying something similar, an incident went viral on social media and left people amused. A WhatsApp conversation was shared online, where an intern casually informed about quitting the internship after the intern’s ‘AI startup’ received funding.
The post has been doing rounds on the internet ever since it was shared. Most people found the interaction hilarious, while the rest shared 'Just Bengaluru Things’ jokes on the same. A few also spoke on the intern’s ‘poor communication skills’.
The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘KarthikS2206’. The post was captioned, “This only happens in Bangalore.” The post was shared yesterday and pulled 325K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “No matter how young / inexperienced someone is, basic communication skills and respect for others are needed,” a user said. “Glad for the kid! Just hope someone will guide him to get better at communication as well!” commented a second netizen.
“People in the comment section judge so quickly and get offended so easily. How do you conclude that the startup guy was chatting with a manager or boss? This might just be a casual chat between two interns or colleagues,” wrote a third person. “I guess that internship was just the warm-up!” added a fourth user.
