Dame Un Grrr Viral Video: The reel-making craze has taken over the internet like never before. From kids to senior citizens, everyone is jumping on the trend, no matter the place, age, or even the impact it may have on others. Be it on a bus, a train, the road, or any public space, reel enthusiasts are seen everywhere, capturing videos for social media. Every few days, a new song goes viral, and users rush to make creative content around it. One such song currently dominating the internet is ‘Dame Un Grr’. The audio, which first became popular on TikTok, has now taken over Instagram and other platforms, too. But recently, a video related to this trend sparked strong reactions online, and not for the usual reasons.
In the now-viral clip, a little girl is seen recording a reel to the trending song ‘Dame Un Grr’. But just as she begins dancing, her father suddenly appears and slaps her on the head, interrupting the video. The unexpected moment shocked viewers, and the video quickly went viral across platforms. The clip was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the account ‘Ghar Ke Kalesh’, which often posts dramatic and controversial home videos. As expected, the video attracted thousands of views and sparked a heated debate.

Internet Reacts: Divided Opinions
The slap led to mixed reactions online. Many users strongly criticised the father's behaviour, calling it aggressive and unnecessary. On the other hand, some supported the father's action, saying parents need to set boundaries and protect their children from blindly following internet trends.
"It's not real, the sound of the also is added, he just hits near her hair on the right side, she touches her left cheek with her hand where he hasn't even touched," a user wrote. "Galat h bhai samjha sakta tha aise marne ki jarurat nhi thi," a second user added. "It's sad, but reel-making is worse. So I approve his style of parenting even though I wouldn't adopt it," a third user wrote. "Very good, first important stage to be corrected immediately," added another user.
"This is horribly wrong!! This is how parenting should never be done," a fifth user added. "Thappad marna galat hai, but aaj kal bacche pyaar se bhi mhi mante they are addicted to mobiles," added another user. "Daughters are always special for a father. No matter what, a father hitting his Daughter just doesn't seem right," added another user.
