Asthmatic Woman Viral Video: Breathing in Delhi these days feels like a task, not a routine. With pollution levels reaching alarming levels, the city’s air quality is worsening by the day. While people are struggling to cope, one woman’s hilarious yet honest take on the situation is going viral online. The video, shared by Instagram user Arushi Kapoor, captures her witty take on surviving Delhi’s toxic air while living with asthma. Titled “My only Solulu for Polulu,” her clip is both relatable and real.
Starting her vlog, Arushi introduces herself with a dose of humour, saying, “Welcome to another pun vlog. So I’m an asthmatic and I live in Dilli, aka Pollutyen’s Delhi. And this is how I’ve been surviving these couple of days of ‘Lung ka Dahan.’” She then shares how she’s managing her daily routine amid the smog. “First off, I always check the AQI before stepping out. I’m all about the toxic MASKulinity,” she jokes, showing how she never forgets to wear a mask with an inbuilt air purifier whenever she goes out.
Arushi adds that she also uses a wearable device while eating or talking and prefers staying indoors as much as possible. Her home is filled with plants and equipped with an air purifier that runs all day. “’Cause my survival is ASTHMA NIRBHAR,” she says with a laugh. “When I have a slight itchy throat, I take steam. Good old days, you’ll be mist!” she quips, before adding that she always carries her inhaler and sometimes has to use a nebulizer prescribed by her doctor when the air gets really bad. “Pollution yaar, AQI tu?” she sighs.
