Viral Video: It’s hard to be a ‘loved’ roadside snack in Delhi, if the snack in question is the specialty of another state, like Maharashtra. Yes, for Delhiites, snacks like Momos, Chole Bhature, and more, are peak options that they will always go for no matter what. However, amid all the ‘competition’, Maharashtra’s Vada pav these days, is going a bit too viral in the National Capital. But here’s the fun part- this popularity has more to do with a streetside Vada pav vendor than Vada pav itself!
Yes, you guessed it correctly; Chandrika Dixit, also popular by the name ‘the Vada pav girl’, is back in the headlines and the reason is as chaotic as it can be. A video of the Vada pav girl was recently shared online, where she was seen seemingly irritated by the number of queues that her customers formed in front of the stall. The video went viral, and netizens were quick to point out her ‘poor’ handling of customers. Meanwhile, many found her ‘tone’ questionable, as far as dealing with people is concerned.
The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Sassy_Soul_’. The post was captioned in Hindi, which roughly translated to, “She is selling a vada pav for 50 rupees, and on top of that, she has so much attitude. People are crazy.”

Quoting a foreign colleague: Indian women are worse than Indian men, as far as public etiquette is concerned,” a user said. “It is easy to reach heights but difficult to remain, and when money comes suddenly, it also shows how social and moral you are,” said a second person.
“I will not talk about the customers, they are so empty of pockets that they are even giving pause in the air, they are also insulting the air, the limit is that they are insulting for food, the one who goes to a good restaurant and gives water to the staff with his attitude, and this is his rudeness. are facing,” said another. “The girl made famous by food bloggers.
