Viral Video: Travelling abroad can be an exciting experience but sometimes the behaviour of a few spoils it for everyone. A recent video has gone viral showing how some Indians abroad left a fellow countryman embarrassed with their rude actions. The clip, shared on Instagram by the handle ‘boyonglobe’, shows an influencer visiting a shop during a Taiwan tour when he noticed a group of Indian men behaving badly. The men, reportedly in their 30s and 40s, were behaving childishly and even making racist remarks towards the shopkeeper.

'This lack of civic sense among Indians' has been widely discussed online and this video only added fuel to the debate. The influencer expressed his frustration, saying that such behaviour damages the image of the entire nation. “I will always call out Indians who behave badly abroad because it affects my image too. I don’t care what people from other countries are doing. I care when it’s us, because I walk around with the same passport, the same skin, the same label. And if we want respect globally, we need to act like we deserve it,” he wrote.

Many people found his frustration “relatable,” while others shared their own experiences of witnessing similar behaviour abroad. "He is speaking the truth. That’s why not only in Taiwan, but in other countries too, Indians are not respected," a user wrote. "Exactly…learn to behave while you are representing your country in foreign nations," a second user wrote.

"I think the Indian passport authority must conduct a civic sense training workshop before issuing a passport," wrote a third user. "Respect for you for calling out such behaviour of our countrymen. We need to be better people and tourists whenever we go out of our country," added a fourth user. "I visited S.Korea las week. Wonderful country..disciplined people. I enjoyed my visit so much because I DIDN'T SEE A SINGLE INDIAN TOURIST THERE.!! Thank God..they are an embarrassment to decent Indian Tourists," added a fifth user.
