Viral Video: A video showing a girl assaulting an auto driver over a fare in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, was shared on social media and quickly went viral. In the video, the girl can be seen repeatedly thrashing the auto driver and instructing someone to record the incident. She is heard using abusive language, while the video was filmed by one of her friends. The footage was posted on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by the handle '@NCMIndiaa.' According to the video, the dispute began over the fare the auto driver requested. However, the girl later claimed that the driver used offensive language, which escalated the altercation.
According to another post shared by the 'NCMIndia Council For Men Affairs,' the girl seen beating the auto driver in the viral video has been identified as Priyanshi Pandey from Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. She and her friend, Priya, assaulted the auto driver, Vimlesh Kumar Shukla, and uploaded the video on Instagram.

A video of Priyanshi Pandey has surfaced, where she denies the reason circulating on social media and claims that the auto driver made offensive remarks about her, which prompted her to take that action.
Another video surfaced online from the same handle, with the caption stating that the girl is openly challenging the Mirzapur police to take any action they deem necessary after beating the auto driver, Vimlesh Kumar Shukla.

The video shared yesterday garnered 500k views, sparking a wave of reactions from viewers. Many users called for strict action against the girl, while others questioned whether this was an example of women empowerment.
Taking to the comment section, a user wrote, "So this is women empowerment In the name of laws, freedom, feminism, such girls are getting unfair benefits? What mistake would the auto driver make? It is clear from his words that he may not have done anything wrong." "I swear, girls in India are turning into Janwar, thanks to feminists and communists," added a second user.
"Shameful! This 'Ladki Hun, Lad Sakti Hun' girl from Mirzapur disrespects true empowerment by assaulting an auto driver over a fare! Such arrogance has no place in society. True strength lies in respect, not violence!" added a third user. "Shocking and unacceptable behavior! Using violence for social media clout is disgraceful.
