Popular actor Nana Patekar recently made headlines on social media after a questionable video of his abrupt interaction with a fan went viral on the internet. Patekar at the time, was shooting for a film in Varanasi, where a fan reached out to him to get a selfie out of the blue. But the man’s fan moment turned into a ‘failed fan interaction’ when the actor instead hit the man on the head and asked him to leave. The video left the internet with a mixed reaction as many chastised the actor for his behaviour, while some found it funny.
The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by the user ‘Lala_The_Don’. The post was captioned, “You supposed to show this anger in the reel, not in real Nana Patekar sahab.”

The video is doing rounds on social media and is receiving mixed reactions by the netizens. Most people chastised the actor for his behaviour and called the action ‘uncalled for’, while others sided with the actor and dubbed him ‘rowdy’. Many also cracked jokes on the incident. The video was shared today and pulled hundreds of views from people.
Taking to the internet, people shared the video and shared their take on the incident. “Slap-Kalesh b/w Nana patekar and his fan over that guy wanted to take selfie with Nana without his permission in Varanasi,” a user wrote. “This is shocking behaviour by Nana Patekar. He could have easily said NO. What was the need to slap that guy who just wanted a photo?” added a next person.
