Despite it being with us since the very origin of the human species, the Moon will always amaze us. The celestial beauty is breathtaking to the level that it has created an entire activity out of its beauty; Moon Gazing. Amid all this, there is no denying the fact that NASA has played a very vital role, as the organisation, with the aim to explore space, is one of the many reasons behind humanity being able to get a glimpse of the wonders that the universe carries.
NASA has always shared and shown us pictures of outer space since the time it became 'able enough' to share its findings with the rest of humanity. Recently, adding a new capture that took 'Moon gazing' to another level, the space agency took to its Instagram handle and shared an image of Saturn's moon, Mimas, that was captured by a spacecraft.

In the caption, NASA mentioned all the required information about the new picture, which read, "Our Cassini spacecraft captured this view of Saturn and its moon Mimas from around 576,000 miles (927,000 km) away as it zoomed through Saturn's system, studying the gas giant's atmosphere, magnetosphere, moons, and rings. Though the lean in the image is just a result from the perspective of Cassini, Saturn is similarly tilted like Earth. Seasons on the ringed planet last seven Earth years."
In the image, Saturn and its rings were partially visible. Mimas, on the other hand, was at the centre of the image where it was spotted right below the rings. The image looked breathtaking and was quick in leaving the netizens awestruck. The post was especially a treat for the people who are more interested in outer space and its beauty.
Reacting to the post, netizens quickly flooded the comment box with comments lauding the snap. "Perfection! I love seeing the shadows from the rings," a user wrote while highlighting the other key elements of the picture. "The black strip on saturn looking like saturn is cutted into half," added another user.
"OMG! Is this a real image of Saturn?!" wrote a third user. "I wonder what it would be like to be on the surface of one of those moons looking up at the sky and seeing massive Saturn up there," commented a fourth out of curiosity and awe.
