Before they became a mere meme, resolutions, especially New Year Resolutions, were a thing that people often took seriously. In fact, the whole point of these resolutions was that they were supposed to be taken seriously. However, in the past years, the definition witnessed a drastic change, and now, the whole thing has turned into a meme. Every year before January 1st, people talk about all kinds of resolutions, especially gym and health-related, but somehow fail to execute them the very next day. So naturally, when 2024 was welcomed by the world, netizens welcomed some hilarious memes and jokes on the same as well. And now, all that the internet currently can talk about, is gym and other such resolutions. 

Taking to the internet, people shared their take on the new trend. From sharing memes to cracking jokes, netizens did all that they could to highlight the popularity of one of the most failed ‘New Year’ resolutions- gym and controlled diet. Many also shared about other resolutions that they tend to take ahead of every year, but never succeed in following up.

“New Year Resolution : Exercise Cheyali,” a user said. 

“New year's resolutionists at the gym on 31st Dec?” said a second person. 

“Nobody new at the gym today. Nobody made resolutions?” joined a third. 

“Me when i made new resolutions and it’s already 2024,” said a fourth person. 

“New year resolutions at the start of the year. New year resolutions 2 months later,” shared a fifth user.

“Why am i giggling at a man saying his new years resolution is to get more sleep i cant breathe,” wrote a sixth person.
